St. Johns Lodge No. 36

Established in 1862 as St. Johns Lodge of Ballaarat No. 427 under the Grand Lodge of Ireland, St Johns continued under the Irish Constitution until 1889 when the Lodge affiliated with the United Grand Lodge of Victoria when it received the Warrant No. 36, which it still holds to this date.

St. Johns Lodge is the longest established continuing operating Lodge in the Ballarat district that is still in it’s original form.

St. Johns meets on the 3rd Thursdays of the month and we Tyle at 6.30 PM in “Daylight dress” to give an alternative meeting date and style of dress.
We hold to all the principles and practices you would expect of Freemasonry and we would welcome all enquires either direct or via this website.

Location: Ballarat Masonic Centre – 616 Barkly, Street Golden Point (Ballarat), Victoria, Australia 3350.
When: 3rd Thursday each month.
Time:
6:30pm.
Dress Code: Lounge suit and regalia.
